Mental Health America - Nation's Leading Nonprofit
If you haven't heard, we donate 10% of our proceeds to these guys. They're like our big brother, our guiding light, or our night in shining armor. The point is, we fully support what they're doing on a consistent basis and we look up to them as a professional resource.
Mental Health America's Mission :
"Mental Health America (MHA) - founded in 1909 - is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all. Our work is driven by our commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all; early identification and intervention for those at risk; integrated care, services, and supports for those who need it; with recovery as the goal." (MHA)
MHA differentiates themselves in multiple ways, but here's the most important characteristic that has lead us to align with them.
The "Before Stage 4" philosophy is an idea that mental health conditions should be addressed at the start rather than when they reach a critical point. This philosophy is a driving factor in Mental Health Americas mission. With education and awareness there's a higher chance for recognizing symptoms at the start, which leads to higher success in stopping the progression of the illness. Mental health issues aren't one size fits all, which is why it's important to identify and build a plan in the early stages.
"MHA is committed to addressing mental health Before Stage 4." (MHA)
So why does Find The Good Brand support MHA?
We believe our mission uniquely aligns with their "Before Stage 4" Philosophy. We also value the professional network, education, and platform that they provide to anyone in need.
We strive to inspire our community around our mantra of "finding the good", but we know that sometimes this phrase isn't enough to get you through the hardest of times. It's important to us to provide clarity to our audience about what we're here for, what we can do, and most importantly, what we can't.
We can provide a tight knit community that advocates for mental health and well-being, high quality apparel to remind you to stay positive, and content that puts a smile on your face.
Unfortunately, we can't diagnose a mental health illness, we can't provide you with professional help, and we can't provide integrated care or services.
Fortunately, Mental Health America is here for you. That's why we align with them, because they are there for you when we can't be.
