Welcome back to another edition of Find The Good Friday, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful resources, one inspiring quote, one quick tip, and one find the good story to help you find the good this upcoming week.

Our goal is to help you get through the good and the bad days, the ups and the downs, and anything else that stands between you and a smile on your face.

This week's focus: Celebrating the small victories.

Let’s get to it!

This Week's Resources

Here’s a list of some of my favorite resources this week. If you have the time to check them out, I’d highly recommend it!

This Week's Quote

“Enjoy the little things in life. For one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

This Week's Quick Tip

There’s something you don’t know about me... I have a medical condition that impacts my(almost) daily life. Don’t worry, it’s not as bad as it sounds.

But growing up, I had a para-educator in school, I never got my driver’s license (I still don’t have it), and it affected how I played sports... which is the one I cared about most!

Because whenever I go on a run or do any sort of exercise, I have to take a break every once in a while because of it.

Annyyyywayyyssss... over the summer whenever I would go on a run, it would impact me almost instantly (which was really inconvenient and annoying). But yesterday I went on a run and was able to go a lot further than usual before having to stop. Not to mention it only happened once, as opposed to multiple times.

It might sound like a small thing, but it was a win in my book. Because I’m more fit and in shape than I have been. And it’s just a lot more enjoyable to get out and run when I don’t have to worry about it as much.

I guess what I’m trying to say is I found the good in the little victories this week. So during this upcoming week, I encourage you to do the same. Find something that you’re proud of, no matter how small it is. And then share it with others.

Like we always say... there’s good all around you. You just have to look for it!

This Week's Find The Good Story

This week’s find the good story is from Delaney. Hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us!

“Personally, I find the good through my faith. For the last two years, I’ve worked at Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp as a counselor. Through this, I’ve been able to not only share my faith and encourage those younger than me, but also show kindness to every person I meet.

Through the experience of working at camp, I’m able to be a person for the kids I encounter to look up to. They’re able to confide in me and share their lives with me. This allows me to give advice, counsel, and show them how to lead with love, as well.

In my school, I’m also the president of the Student Council and run many committees that encourage students to meet new people and grow their circle of trusted friends. It also allows for them to be kind to one another in a fun and encouraging environment.”
