Welcome back to another edition of Find The Good Friday, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful resources, one inspiring quote, one quick tip, and one find the good story to help you find the good this upcoming week.

Our goal is to help you get through the good and the bad days, the ups and the downs, and anything else that stands between you and a smile on your face.

This week's focus: Changing your routine to change your life.

Let’s get to it, shall we?

This Week's Resources

Here’s a list of some of my favorite resources this week. If you have the time to check them out, I’d highly recommend it!

This Week's Quote

You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”

- John C. Maxwell | American Author and Orator

This Week's Quick Tip

It’s 5:45 AM. I wake up to the sound of birds chirping and a warm light illuminating my pitch black room. I rub my eyes as I turn off my alarm clock.

As I roll out of bed and walk to the bathroom to get ready, I hear my roommate whisper “Hurry up, let’s go!” from his room. Five minutes later, we get in the car and head to the gym for our morning workout.

Now, I’ve never been much of a morning person. But ever since my roommate and I made our New Year’s goals to go to the gym every morning before work... I can now see why so many people want to get a head-start on their days.

Because even though I’ve only been following this morning routine for the past week, I’m already starting to see a noticeable difference in my mood, energy levels, and productivity throughout the rest of the day. Not to mention I feel like I have so much more time in the day!

Yes, sometimes a simple change in routine is all it takes to change your life for the better. So this upcoming week, I encourage you to change just one thing about your daily routine (no matter how big or small it may be). You might be surprised at what it’ll do for you.

This Week's Find The Good Story

This week’s find the good story is from an anonymous member of our community. Hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us!

“While I was in the process of deciding which college to attend, I started to sink into a hole of uncontrollable despair. I was terrified of leaving home and afraid of the unknown that came with making such a big decision.

During this time, I learned to find God, trust in His plan for me, and focus on the things that I could control. I found that daily scripture study and journaling were what I needed to bring me out of my funk.

Each night, I would reflect on the things I was grateful for in my journal. This helped me navigate my despair and ultimately find a more positive outlook on life. Each day, I continue to look for the good instead of focusing on the negative, and I've noticed such a difference in my mental strength!”

Thanks for reading this week's edition of Find The Good Friday! We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback, so let us know what you thought by dropping us a reply to this email.

Keep on finding the good :)
