Let’s get to it!

This Week's Resource 📚

12 Science-Based Benefits of Meditation

For thousands of years, the practice of meditation has helped people to just... be.

If you’ve ever meditated before, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

But it’s not just some weird hack. No, there are several benefits to meditation that science has proven.

Meditation has been shown to help:

•Reduce stress
•Control anxiety
•Lengthen attention span

And above anything else, it allows you to find the good;)

We can’t control everything that happens. But we can change our experience of those things.”

This Week's Quick Tip 📝

With the warm summer weather finally coming around, one thing I’ve been doing to set myself up for the day is to get outside shortly after I wake up.

I sit outside on my deck and just...be.

Now, I wouldn’t say I meditate in the “cross-legged, closed eyes, ohmmm” type of way.

But I do simply pay attention to the various sights and sounds around me. I focus on my breathing. I take thetime to enjoy nature and the beautiful world around me.

I’ve found that this small (yet powerful) thing really gets me in the right state of mind to conquer the day ahead of me.

So I encourage you to give it a try. You don’t even have to go outside, but it sure does help.

Take a moment tomorrow morning to just... be. To just pause and enjoy where you are.

You'll thank me (and yourself) later.
