Hey there,

Well, it’s been almost an entire year since we started sending these weekly newsletters to you. And we’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

But don’t worry, we don’t plan to stop any time soon. Because as long as you look forward to receiving these emails, we’ll look forward to sending them to you each week.

Sound like a deal?

Anyways, welcome back to another edition of Find The Good Friday, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful resources, one inspiring quote, one quick tip, and one find the good story to help you find the good this upcoming week.

Our goal is to help you get through the good and the bad days, the ups and the downs, and anything else that stands between you and a smile on your face.

This week's focus: Your biggest duty in life.

Let’s get to it!

This Week’s Resources

Here’s a list of some of my favorite resources this week. If you have the time to check them out, I’d highly recommend it!

This Week’s Quote

“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”

  • Pablo Picasso | Spanish Painter and Sculptor

This Week’s Quick Tip

Now, you might not agree with what I’m about to say (and that’s okay). But I believe we’re all here on earth for a very specific reason.

Some people are meant to share their artwork or writing with others. Some people are meant to become mothers or fathers and share their love with their children. And some people are meant to create and invent the wildest of things and share their inventions with the world.

And truth is, it might feel like there are a lot of different things we’re meant to do. We might not even have a clue what it is we’re meant to do.

But no matter what you’re skilled at or no matter what you love doing, I believe we’re meant to share those things with others.

Yes, we all have gifts that are meant to be shared with the world. But not only are they meant to be shared with the world, I believe it’s your duty to share those things with others.

Because imagine how much more boring the world would be if nobody shared their artwork or music or love or stories or inventions with one another? It would be a lot less fun, right?

So this upcoming week, I want to leave you with a challenge: I challenge you to find a few things you love doing and are good at – your “gifts,” if you will – and share them with someone. Find the good by sharing your gifts with others. I think you’ll be glad you did :)

This Week’s Find The Good Story

This week’s find the good story is from an anonymous member of our community. Hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us!

“I find the good in the people in my life. There have been many moments where my mental health was not at its best and I secluded myself from others, thinking that’s what was best. But I realized that the people in my life bring out the best in me.

There are people there to bring you up when you’re down, and you are never alone. Being with people you love is also a distraction from everything going on in your life. Instead of sitting alone with all of your negative emotions, find the good in the people around you.”

Thanks for reading this week's edition of Find The Good Friday! We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback, so let us know what you thought by dropping us a reply to this email.

Keep on finding the good :)
