Hey there,
I don’t know about where you are, but over here in Washington the sun is shining and the weather’s starting to get warmer (even if it’s just for a moment).
Winter’s been treating me well, but it’s days like this that are getting me stoked for spring and the warmer months.
Anyways… welcome back to another edition of Find The Good Friday, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful resources, one inspiring quote, one quick tip, and one find the good story to help you find the good this upcoming week.
Our goal is to help you get through the good and the bad days, the ups and the downs, and anything else that stands between you and a smile on your face.
This week's focus: What to do when you hit a wall.
Let’s get to it!

This Week’s Quick Tip
Truth is, it’s not a matter of if you’ll hit a wall in life. It’s a matter of when.
You know what I’m talking about, right? When it just seems like nothing’s going your way, when you feel like you’re at your lowest, when it feels like you’ve given everything you have left to give.
That’s the wall. And it’s something we’ll likely all experience in life (it may even be something you already have experienced).
Because here’s the thing: Life can be tough. It can beat you up and push you down and make you feel like you just can’t go anymore.
But I guarantee… you’re tougher. You can and you will keep going*.* Because just like the article above mentions, today’s the first day of the rest of your life.
You get the chance to reinvent yourself and start over every single day you wake up. And that’s a gift, my friend. Don’t waste it.
Here’s my challenge for you this week: Think about a time when you were at your lowest or hit a “wall” in life. How did you get back up and keep going? Share your story with a friend or reply to this email with your response!
This Week’s Find The Good Story
This week’s find the good story is from an anonymous member of our community. Hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us!
“I used to live a life where I questioned whether or not I was good enough. This took a toll on me mentally and started to impact how I engaged with the people around me. I always found ways to put myself down (I still do sometimes), and it's a constant challenge.
In my line of work, I coach others to reflect and try things little by little. I tell them it's okay to fail as long as you take the time to learn from those failures and make adjustments. Sometimes those coaching sessions turned into life analogies with my colleagues.
This led me do more self-reflection and ask myself where I could be better in life. What happened and what could I do differently?
Over time, I found joy in the little things I love to do. The opportunities I have each day and practicing gratitude each morning helps build bigger smiles and longer laughs. It builds a better me and shines a brighter light each day. Being okay with my own self and finding the little things each day really makes life worth living.”
