Hey there,
You know what this Sunday is, right? Daylight Saving’s Time.
And you know what that means, right? Sunsets after 7 PM… finally!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for more daylight. Now all we need is warmer weather.
Anyways, welcome back to another edition of Find The Good Friday, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful resources, one inspiring quote, one quick tip, and one find the good story to help you find the good this upcoming week.
Our goal is to help you get through the good and the bad days, the ups and the downs, and anything else that stands between you and a smile on your face.
This week's focus: Why you should listen to yourself more.
Let’s get to it!

This Week’s Quick Tip
Well, it’s that time of season. I finally got it. That annoying little bug that goes around causing mischief on everyone’s lives.
The cold.
The other day I woke up feeling terrible. Runny nose. Sore throat. The chills. And as much as I wanted to give the day my all and do everything I had planned… I knew I should listen to what my body was telling me to do.
Don’t go to the gym. Don’t spend 8 hours staring at my computer screen. And instead, just get some rest. And as much as I didn’t want to, I listened to what my body was telling me.
After relaxing and recharging that day, I got nearly 12 hours of sleep and felt much better, ready to give the next day my all.
So the next time your body’s telling you something… you should probably listen to it. After all, it knows what’s best for you.
Here’s my challenge for you this week: Take a few minutes this week to sit down in silence and listen to yourself. Like really listen to yourself. I think you’ll be amazed at what you tell yourself.
This Week’s Find The Good Story
This week’s find the good story is from an anonymous member of our community. Hope it inspires you as much as it inspires us!
“I try to find the good in a lot of different ways throughout my life. But the main thing I like to do to find the good each day is simply try to appreciate all the little things around me. Whether it's a stranger's kind smile as I pass them on the street, the warm sun against my skin, or the uncontrollable laughter I experience when my best friend tells me a random joke.
At the end of the day, I really do believe the small things create the big things in life. If you can look back on each day and find something that made you smile, no matter how big or small it may be, you're finding the good in every day life. And that's exactly how life is meant to be lived.”
